Frequently asked questions.
I offer bespoke baby and newborn care packages designed for each individual family. My clients feel listened to and empowered to raise their child to be an asset to the future generation.
I offer a safe and trustworthy service, tailored advice individual to your baby and personalised routines that align the with rhythm of your home environment.
I am not only a baby sleep consultant and maternity nurse, but also provide practical and encouraging solutions to everyday challenges, taking into consideration your point of view as well as the emotional, physical, developmental and spiritual needs of your baby.
A Maternity Nurse works in the home and helps to empower new parents. They will implement good feeding and sleeping patterns as well as help parents to adapt to life with a new baby. They typically work throughout the fourth trimester and will usually take on full overnight care of your newborn to maximise rest and recovery for the parents.
I recommend enquiring with a Maternity Nurse at the earliest, after you have had your 20-week scan. Maternity Nurses do get booked in advance so if you leave it too late then the chances are I will be booked.

I have a minimum requirement of 2 weeks for in-person Maternity Nurse support. I am always open to discussing an extension onto your original booking depending on my availability.
There are a few different options for overnight care whilst breastfeeding. If you would like to continue breast feeding at night then I can bring your baby to you when they need a feed and then settle them for sleep again afterwards. Alternatively, if you would rather pump throughout the day then I can bottle feed your newborn overnight, but please consider that you are likely to still need to pump at least once overnight.
I will be booked from a particular date that we have agreed on. If your baby comes early and I am available then I will always start early, but sometimes this is not possible. If your baby is late or arrives after our agreed start date then you will need to pay a retainer fee of 50% each day until your baby arrives. Some parents choose to me to start work 1 week after their due date to allow for a butter if the baby is late.
No. I work with any parents of newborns who are looking for some extra support.
There are several things I can help with including feeding (or bringing the baby back to you), settling, nappy changes, and sterilising equipment. You can expect that I will rest between feeds once the baby is settled and other duties are completed. When I leave in the morning, you can expect me to leave everything clean and sterilised. I will also provide a handover to update you on your baby’s sleep and what you can potentially expect the next day.
